Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will visit Moscow Dec. 29, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish media.
Erdogan said that during the trip to Moscow, Cavusoglu will be accompanied by the head of Turkish intelligence Hakan Fidan.
Erdogan also noted that as part of the visit to Moscow, the Syrian crisis will be the main topic for discussion.
On Dec. 12, Erdogan said the Turkish Armed Forces would launch a new military operation in northern Syria against PYD/YPG.
Erdogan claimed there were US soldiers in the detachments of the terrorists in Syria.
"Despite the US promised Turkey that it would not support PYD/YPG, the Syrian wing of the PKK, the US did not keep its word," Erdogan said.
