New trunk road to be built in western Turkey

A new trunk road will be constructed in the west of Turkey between its provinces of Aydin and Denizli, Trend reports referring to the Transport and Infrastructure Ministry of the country.

The project cost is 25 million Turkish liras.

The total length of the road will be 103 kilometers.

Also, 71 bridges will be built as part of the project.

The ministry noted that the road will be paid.

A tender will be announced in connection with the construction of the road on March 26.

The total budget allocated for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey for implementing transport and infrastructure projects in the country will amount to 64.275 billion Turkish liras in 2020-2021.

According to the ministry, 31.183 billion liras will be allocated for the implementation of projects in 2020, which will be 3.413 billion liras more compared to the budget for 2019.

An amount of 31.092 billion liras will be allocated for the implementation of projects in 2021.
