In January-April 2019, 353 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey, which is 171 companies more compared to January-April 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Iranian companies registered in Turkey during the first four months of 2019 amounted to 46 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 15 million liras.
In January-April 2019, the largest number of Iranian companies was registered in Istanbul (287 companies), whose total capital amounted to 33.5 million liras.
According to the TOBB, 12 Iranian companies with total capital of 2.4 million liras were registered in Ankara during the reported period, while 29 companies with total capital of four million liras were registered in Antalya. The remaining 25 registered Iranian companies in January-April 2019 fall to the share of other provinces.
In January-April 2019, two mining, 31 industrial, 14 construction, 161 wholesale and retail companies, and 37 travel companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining 108 companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.
According to TOBB, the total capital of 161 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 22.2 million liras.
