The PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) terrorist Miktad Orde, codenamed "Harun", was neutralized during a special operation carried out in the Turkish city of Hakkari, Trend reports.
Harun was on the wanted terrorist list of the Turkish Ministry of Interior.
It was noted that an accomplice of Harun was also detained during the special operation.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted more than 25 years, claiming more than 40,000 lives. The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
