In June 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Tajikistan increased by $1.503 million compared to June 2018 and reached $21.326 million, Trend reports referring to Turkish Trade Ministry.
In this period, Turkish exports to Tajikistan amounted to $9.567 million, while imports from Tajikistan reached $11.759 million.
At the same time, the trade between Turkey and Tajikistan in the first half of 2019 decreased by $27.316 million compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $147.777 million.
In January-June 2019, Turkish exports to Tajikistan amounted to $71.189 million, while imports from Tajikistan equaled to $76.588 million.
In June 2019, Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $26 billion.
Turkish exports fell by 14.3 percent in June 2019 compared to the same month last year and amounted to $11.8 billion, while imports decreased by 22.7 percent and amounted to $14.2 billion.
