In July 2019, 128,300 tourists from Azerbaijan visited Turkey, which is 19.90 percent more compared to July 2018, Trend reports referring to Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The share of Azerbaijani citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in July 2019 amounted to 1.94 percent.
In January-July 2019, 479,800 tourists from Azerbaijan visited Turkey, which is 4.71 percent more compared to the same period in 2018. The share of Azerbaijani citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in in this period amounted to 1.94 percent.
The ministry noted that in July 2019, 6.617 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 16.67 percent more compared to July 2018.
During this period, 2.5 million tourists visited Antalya, while 1.6 million visited Istanbul.
According to the ministry, in January-July 2019, 24.6 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 14.11 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
