Turkey-Belarus trade turnover shrinks

In July 2019, Turkey's trade turnover with Belarus decreased by $7.079 million compared to July 2018, and amounted to $42.25 million, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

In July 2019, Turkey's exports to Belarus amounted to $34.156 million, while imports from Belarus equaled to only $8.094 million.

Moreover, the trade turnover between Turkey and Belarus in January-July 2019 increased by $8.446 million compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to $383.804 million.

In January-July 2019, Turkey's exports to Belarus amounted to $285.007 million, while imports from Belarus reached only $98.797 million.

The total exports of Turkey in July 2019 increased by 7.9 percent compared to last year and amounted to $15.16 billion. At the same time, Turkey's imports decreased by 8.5 percent and amounted to $18.35 billion.

Turkey's foreign trade turnover in July 2019 amounted to $33.51 billion.
