The number of terrorists eliminated by the Turkish Armed Forces since the beginning of a new military operation entitled 'Source of Peace' in Syria has reached 277, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Defense Ministry.
Another 49 PKK/PYD-YPG terrorists were eliminated during the operations, according to the report.
“Thus, the total number of the eliminated terrorists since the start of the operation 'Source of Peace' has increased to 277,” the report noted.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the beginning of a new military operation entitled 'Source of Peace' in Syria on Oct. 9. The president stressed that Turkey will completely destroy the hotbeds of terrorism in northern Syria.
On Oct. 7, Erdogan said that in anticipation of the beginning of new military operations by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Syria, the US servicemen began to leave the region.
