In September 2019, 1,891 Georgian trucks transited cargoes through Turkey, which is 2 percent less compared to the same month of 2018, a source in Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND) told Trend.
"The volume of transit cargoes transported by Georgian trucks for the reporting period amounted to 2.3 percent of the total volume of transit cargo transportation in Turkey," the association said.
In September 2019, 80,051 trucks transited cargoes through Turkey, which is eight percent more compared to the same month of 2018.
Some 934,404 Turkish trucks transported cargoes abroad from January through September 2019, which is an increase of five percent compared to the same period of 2018.
