From January through October 2019, a total of 5,120 foreign companies were registered in Turkey, with a total capital of 5.6 billion liras ($987.5 million). Trend reports on November 28 referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
During this period, 32 agricultural companies were registered in Turkey, with capital of 9.6 million ($1.6 million).
“In the ten months of 2019, 35 mining companies with a capital of 6.8 million liras ($1.1 million) and 465 industrial companies with a capital of 194.3 million liras ($33.7 million) were registered in Turkey,” the TOBB said.
During the reporting period 2019, 253 construction companies with a total capital of 8.5 billion liras ($1.480 billion) were registered in Turkey.
“In ten months of 2019, 46 financial insurance companies with a total capital of 103.2 million liras ($17.918 million) were registered in Turkey,” the TOBB said.
During this period, 454 real estate companies with a capital of 833.1 million liras ($144.532 million) were registered in Turkey.
The official rate for November 28 is 5.7632 TL/USD.
