From January through October 2019, Turkey exported defense industry products worth over $8.2 million to Uzbekistan, which is five times more compared to the same period of 2018, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend Nov. 29.
In October 2019, the volume of exports of defense products from Turkey to Uzbekistan decreased by 20.94 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $116,150.
In ten months of 2019, the volume of export of Turkish defense industry products increased by 37.5 percent compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $2.1 billion.
In October 2019, exports of Turkish defense industry products increased by 35.8 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $280.6 million.
Over the past 12 months (October 2018 - October 2019), exports of Turkish defense industry products grew by 35.5 percent compared to the same period in 2017-2018 and amounted to $2.6 billion.
Turkey’s export grew by 1.6 percent and reached $137 billion from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, the country's export decreased by 0.3 percent and reached $15.2 billion in October 2019 compared to October 2018.
