From January through November 2019, Turkey’s export of clothing to Iran increased by 25.9 percent compared to the same period of 2018, amounting to $143 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In November 2019, Turkey’s export of clothing to Iran dropped by 84 percent, amounting to $1.8 million, the ministry said.
In the first 11 months of 2019, Turkey’s total export of clothing grew by 18.5 percent compared with the same period of 2018, amounting to $92.7 billion, which is 10.7 percent of country’s total export.
In November 2019, Turkey’s export of clothing grew by 8 percent compared to November 2018, amounted to $8.8 billion, or 10.3 percent of total export.
From November 2018 through November 2019, Turkey’s export of clothing grew by 19 percent compared with the same period in 2017-2018, amounting to $99.6 billion.
In November 2019, Turkey’s export dropped by 0.7 percent compared with October 2018, amounting to $14.8 billion.
