Turkey’s trade with China increased by nearly $389.5 million in November 2019 compared to the same month of preceding year, exceeding $2 billion, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 13.
In this month, Turkey’s export to China amounted to $246.8 million, and import from China to $1.7 billion, the ministry said.
From January through November 2019, the trade between Turkey and China dropped by $3 billion compared with the same period of 2018, amounting to $19 billion, a source in the ministry said.
In the first 11 months of 2019, Turkey’s export to China amounted to $2.3 billion, and import from China to $16.7 billion, the source said.
Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $33.2 billion in November 2019.
In this month, Turkey’s export increased by 0.1 percent compared with November 2018, amounting to $15.5 billion.
Import to Turkey increased by 9.7 percent in November 2019 compared with the same month of 2018, and reached $17.7 billion.
