The number of Turkish citizens looking for job in Russia decreased from January through February 2020, Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) told Trend.
The number of Turkish citizens who visited Russia via İŞKUR in order to look for a job has decreased by 68.2 percent over the period of January through February 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.
During the reported period, 177 Turkish citizens visited Russia over the reporting period.
In total, 3,046 Turkish citizens went abroad via the agency from January through February 2020, which is 11.5 percent less compared to the same period in 2019.
In February 2020, 85,071 citizens were provided with job via this agency in Turkey, which is 8.3 percent more compared to the same month last year.
Out of the total number of employed persons, 35 percent are women, 65 percent are men.
As reported, 98.9 percent of the total number of the employed persons in February 2020 accounted for the private sector.
In February 2020, the number of unemployed persons in Turkey amounted to 3.451 million people, 50.4 percent of which were women, and 49.6 percent were men.
