Export of furniture and wood from Turkey to Azerbaijan has exceeded $19.7 million from January through February 2020, which is 32.5 percent more compared to the same period last year, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on March 13.
In February 2020, Turkey’s export of furniture and wood to Azerbaijan grew to $10.5 million, which is 31.5 percent more compared to February 2019, the ministry noted.
In January-February 2020, Turkey’s export of furniture and wood to world markets grew by 11.7 percent compared to the same period last year, making up $898.6 million.
Turkey’s export of furniture and wood made up 3.1 percent of the total export for January-February 2020.
In February 2020, Turkey exported furniture and wood worth $445.2 million to world markets, which is 8.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
“Over the last 12 months, i.e. from February 2019 through February 2020, Turkey has exported furniture and wood worth $5.6 billion,” the ministry added.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover in Jan. 2020 amounted to $33.9 billion.
