As many as 3,700 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from January through March 2020, which is by 17 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND) on April 28.
"For the reporting period, 1.2 percent of the total volume of cargo transshipment by trucks from Turkey accounted for Nakhchivan AR," the association said.
According to the association, 1,668 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Nakhchivan in March 2020, which is 6 percent more compared to March 2019.
In total, 290,069 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through March 2020, which is 3 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 78,646 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in March 2020, which is 26 percent less compared to March 2019.
