The volume of cargo transshipment from Turkmenistan via Turkish ports amounted to 61,538 tons from January through April 2020, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

Over the reporting period, all the cargo transshipment from Turkmenistan via the Turkish ports were carried out by ships flying the flags of other countries.

Meanwhile, no cargo transshipment in transit from Turkmenistan through the Turkish ports was carried out.

During the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to more than 123.4 million tons. Meanwhile, the volume of cargo handled by ships flying the Turkish flag surpassed 9.6 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 4.9 million tons, while the cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 108.8 million tons from January through April 2020.

Over the reporting period, over 24.9 million tons of cargo were transited through the ports of Turkey.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to more than 28.8 million tons in April 2020.

In the reporting month, the volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying their countries’ flags amounted to 2.2 million tons, while cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 25.6 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.2 million tons, by ships flying their countries’ flags - 979,880 tons, and under the flags of other countries – 25.6 million tons.

Over 6.5 million tons of cargo were transshipped in transit through the Turkish ports in April 2020.
