Demand for Turkish cement falling in Uzbekistan's construction market

The export of cement from Turkey to Uzbekistan declined by 47,95 percent from January through June 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, amounting $3.1 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.

Turkey’s export of cement to Uzbekistan decreased by 9 percent in June 2020 compared to June 2019 and amounted to $538,000.

Turkey’s export of cement to the world markets decreased by 1 percent from January through June 2020 compared to the same period of 2019 and reached $1.7 billion.

The export of cement from Turkey amounted to 2.3 percent of the country’s total export volume over the reporting period.

Turkey’s export of cement to the world markets amounted to $323.1 million in June 2020, which is 37.4 percent more compared to the same month of 2019.

The export of cement from Turkey amounted to 2.4 percent of the country’s total export volume in June 2020.

Turkey’s export of cement amounted to $3.4 billion from June 2019 through June 2020.
