Turkey's foreign trade turnover made up over $388.8 billion in 2020, the country’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Feb.9.
In the reporting year, the country’s export decreased by 6.3 percent compared to 2019 and amounted to over $169.4 billion.
At the same time, imports of Turkey rose by 4.3 percent and made up almost $219.4 billion.
According to the ministry, Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in December 2020 amounted to $40.2 billion.
Meanwhile, the export of Turkey was by 16 percent more than in December of the previous year, exceeding $17.8 billion. In this month, imports to Turkey grew by 11.6 percent and reached $22.38 billion.
In 2019, the foreign trade turnover of the country made up over $374.2 billion.
