Turkey's export volume to the Turkic-speaking countries increased by 26.4 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, reaching $1.003 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on March 31.
The export volume to the Turkic-speaking countries accounted for 3.2 percent of Turkey's total export volume from January through February 2021.
Turkey's export volume to the Turkic-speaking countries increased by 24.8 percent in February 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, amounting to $533.9 million.
"In February 2021 the export volume to the Turkic-speaking countries accounted for 3.3 percent of Turkey's total export volume during the same period," the ministry said.
According to the ministry, Turkey's import volume from the Turkic-speaking countries increased by 26.7 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $671.2 million.
"The import volume from the Turkic-speaking countries make up 1.8 percent of Turkey's total import volume from January through February 2021," the ministry said.
In February 2021, Turkey's import volume from the Turkic-speaking countries increased by 67.9 percent compared to February 2020 and reached $381.3 million.
"The import volume from the Turkic-speaking countries makes up two percent of Turkey's total import volume in February 2021," the ministry said.
Turkey's trade turnover amounted to $36.2 billion in February 2021.
The export volume increased by 9.6 percent in February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $16.9 billion.
The import volume decreased by 9.4 percent compared to the same period of last year and amounted to $19.3 billion.
Turkey's trade turnover amounted to $68.8 billion from January through February 2021.
Turkey's export volume increased by 5.9 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $31.4 billion.
Turkey's import volume increased by 1.4 percent from January through February 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, reaching $37.4 billion.
