Turkey’s export of clothes to international markets has grown from January through May 2021, Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator rose by 35.7 percent, compared to the same period of 2020, making up over $7.6 billion.
In May this year, Turkey exported clothes worth $1.3 billion abroad, which is 56 percent more than in the same month of last year.
During the last twelve months, from May 2020 through May 2021, the country exported clothes exceeding $19.1 billion, added the ministry.
