The value of export of cars from Turkey to international market in the first 5 months of 2021 has grown, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on June 8.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period this indicator rose by 37.1 percent, compared to the same period of 2020, making up slightly over $12 million.
In May 2021, Turkey exported cars worth more than $1.8 million abroad, which is 56.5 percent growth over the year, the ministry said.
Over the past 12 months (from May 2020 through May 2021), Turkey’s exports of cars amounted to more than $28.8 billion.
