The value of steel export from Turkey to Georgia has increased in the first half of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to $61.7 million, which is 11 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
The export of steel from Turkey to Georgia grew by 14.5 percent in June 2021 on annual basis, up to $13 million.
Turkey has increased the export of steel by 54.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $2.02 billion in June 2021, which is 81 percent more than in June 2020.
The export of steel reached $15.9 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
