The export of leather goods from Turkey to Israel increased by 58.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, reaching almost $22.4 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
The export of leather goods from Turkey to Israel surged by 108 percent in June 2021 compared to June 2020, amounting to $5.03 million, the ministry said.
In general, Turkey increased the export of leather products by 25.7 percent from January through June 2021 compared to June 2020 up to $793.3 million.
Turkey exported leather goods worth $153.1 million in June 2021, which is 51.4 percent more than in June 2020.
Turkey’s export of leather goods totaled $1.5 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
