Turkey increased the export of carpets by 37.9 percent in value terms from January through July 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 - to $2.83 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
Turkey exported $238 million worth of carpets in July 2021, up 16 percent as compared to the same month of 2020, the ministry said.
In the last 12 months (from July 2020 to July 2021), Turkey’s carpet exports totaled over $3.17 billion.
