Value of steel exports from Turkey to Kazakhstan has increased in the first eight months of 2021, Trend reports via Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $22.5 million, up by 51.9 percent on annual basis.
In August 2021, steel exports from Turkey to Kazakhstan reached $2.6 million, which is 1.7 times above the August 2020 level.
Turkey’s total steel export value in the first eight months of this year increased by 68.7 percent compared to the same period of last year - to $13.2 billion.
In August this year, Turkey exported $2.2 billion worth steel, which is 1.6 times more than in the same month of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (August 2020 through August 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $17.9 billion.
