The Turkish port of BOTAŞ received 774 vessels from January through August 2021, Trend reports via Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
The port accepted 102 Turkish ships and 672 ships of other countries.
In August 2021, the ports of Turkey received 4,619 vessels.
Of the total number of ships accepted by the ports, 1,443 were Turkish, and 3,176 of other countries.
According to the ministry, Turkish ports received 33,619 vessels from January through August 2021, among which 10,285 were Turkish.
The rest of the vessels belonged to other countries.
