The export of leather products from Turkey to Turkmenistan increased by 48.8 percent to $3.4 million from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
The export of leather goods from Turkey to Turkmenistan increased by 85.9 percent up to $346,000 in August 2021, compared to August 2020.
Turkey’s total export of leather products increased by 27.8 percent to $1 billion, compared to the same period of 2020.
Turkey exported leather goods worth $157 million in August 2021, which is 60.5 percent more than over the same period of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (August 2020 - August 2021), Turkish exports of leather products amounted to $1.5 billion.
