Turkey's chemical exports to Kazakhstan increase in value for 8M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 22

The value of the export of chemical products from Turkey to Kazakhstan has grown from January through August 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Sept.22.

According to the ministry, this indicator exceeded $73.7 million, up by 20.4 percent on annual basis.

In August this year, Turkey exported chemical products worth over $9.8 million to Kazakhstan, which is 62.6 percent above the August 2020 level.

The total value of export of chemical products from Turkey to international markets in the first eight months of 2021 amounted to over $15.9 billion, up by 38.7 percent on annual basis.

In the 8th month of 2021, Turkey exported chemical products worth slightly over $2 billion abroad, which is 49.1 percent more than in August 2020.

The country’s total export value of chemical products has exceeded $22.6 billion during the last 12 months (from August 2020 through August 2021).
