Turkey increased the export of carpets by 32.3 percent in the first 9 months of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 - up to $2.34 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
Turkey exported carpets worth $272 million in September 2021, up 0.9 percent as compared to September 2020, noted the ministry.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2020 to September 2021), Turkey's carpet exports amounted to $3.17 billion.
