BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. Turkish ports handled 155,635 tons of cargo from Albania from January through February 2022, Trend reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Turkish-flagged ships delivered 6,276 tons of cargo from Albania to ports, while ships flying the flags of other countries - 122,292 tons.
Albanian-flagged ships delivered 27,067 tons of cargo to Turkish ports during this period. Turkish ports handled 40,332 tons of transit cargo from Albania from January through February 2022.
The ports of Turkey handled 31.1 million thousand tons of cargo in February 2022. Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey through the ports amounted to 2.2 million tons in February 2022.
Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 28.8 million tons.
Turkish ports handled 6.2 million tons of transit cargo in February. Turkish ports handled 64.4 million tons of cargo from January through February 2022.
