BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. The Turkish port of Trabzon received 115 ships from January through May 2022, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Monday.
According to the ministry, 25 of the total number of ships accepted by the port were under the flag of Türkiye, 90 - under the flags of other countries.
Turkish ports received 5,093 ships in May 2022.
Some 1,750 of the total number of ships accepted by ports were under the Turkish flag, and 3,343 were under the flags of other countries.
Turkish ports received 21,515 ships from January through May 2022.
A total of 6,642 ships accepted by Turkish ports, were under the flag of Türkiye during this period, and 14,873 were under the flags of other countries.
The ports of Türkiye received 51,199 vessels in 2021, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 ships received by Turkish ports were under the flags of other countries.
