BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. A total of 18 companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Türkiye in February 2023, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to TOBB, this figure is four companies more than in February 2022.
Meantime, the total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Türkiye decreased in February this year, amounting to 3.9 million Turkish liras ($200,000) compared to February last year (5.4 million Turkish liras or $280,000), TOBB said.
TOBB also noted that most of the registered Uzbek companies accounted for Istanbul with 3.6 million Turkish liras ($190,000).
Out of the total number of registered Uzbek companies, 11 companies are engaged in wholesale and retail trade, while the remaining companies operate in other sectors of the Turkish economy, added the union.
