BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Croatia transported 681,307 tons of cargo to Turkish ports from January through August 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure said, Trend reports.
It is reported that Turkish-flagged vessels delivered 38,503 tons of cargoes to Turkish ports from Croatia, while vessels under the flags of other countries delivered 433,537 tons of cargoes.
During this period, 209,267 tons of cargo were delivered to Turkish ports by Croatian-flagged vessels. Also, Croatia transported 876,983 tons of transit cargoes to Turkish ports from January through August 2023.
It should be noted that Turkish ports received 33.3 million tons of cargo in August 2023 (2.3 million tons of cargo by Turkish-flagged vessels and 31.3 million tons of cargo by other countries' flags).
In addition, 5.5 million tons of transit cargoes were transported from Turkish ports in August 2023.
According to the information provided by the Ministry, Turkish ports received 260.5 million tons of cargo from January through August 2023 (19.3 million tons by Turkish-flagged vessels and 241.2 million tons by other countries' flags).
The report says that 46.5 million tons of transit cargoes were transported from the ports of Türkiye from January through August 2023.
