BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 2. Türkiye's foreign trade turnover increased to $52.26 billion in October 2023, the country's Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
As stated in the ministry, exports increased by 7.4 percent ($22.8 billion) compared to the same time in 2022, while imports increased by 0.6 percent ($29.38 billion).
"The foreign trade turnover of Türkiye from January through October of this year amounted to $513.7 billion," the ministry said in a statement.
Türkiye's exports totalled $209.9 billion in the first quarter of this year, up 0.2 percent over the same period last year. Imports increased by 1.1 percent over the same time last year, hitting $303.8 billion, according to the government.
Meanwhile, the country's international trade turnover in 2022 was $617.8 billion, with exports accounting for $254.17 billion (up 12.9 percent year on year) and imports accounting for $363.7 billion (up 22 percent).
