BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 7. Türkiye's Ayvalik port has received 650 vessels from January through December 2023, Trend reports, referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
According to the ministry, throughout this period, Ayvalik Port welcomed 650 vessels under the flag of Türkiye, without hosting any vessels under the flags of other countries.
From January through December 2023, the Turkish ports accommodated a total of 60,195 vessels, comprising 40,918 vessels registered under foreign flags and 19,277 vessels under the Turkish flag.
The ministry noted that in December last year, the ports of Türkiye received 4,697 vessels.
According to the information, during this period, the number of vessels accepted in the ports of Türkiye under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,190, and under the flag of Türkiye - 1,507.
