BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. Türkiye has increased its steel exports to Uzbekistan by 116.9 percent in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, bringing it to $5 million, Trend reports, referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
The ministry also said that Türkiye exported $14.9 billion worth of steel products in the last 12 months (January 2023-January 2024).
In January 2024, Türkiye's exports of steel products to global markets increased by 2.1 percent, totaling $1.12 billion compared to the same month in 2023.
In January-December 2023, Türkiye's exports of steel products decreased by 29.2 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to $14.9 billion.
