BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. The export of ready-made clothing from Türkiye to Turkmenistan declined by 8.3 percent amounting to $2.2 million from January through February 2024, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, referring to the Türkiye's Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.3 million to Turkmenistan in February this year, which is 1.4 percent more than in February 2023," the ministry added.
Meanwhile, Turkish ready-made clothing exports abroad fell by 8.6 percent from January through February 2024 year-on-year to $2.9 million.
Besides, Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.5 million to foreign markets in February this year, down 4.6 percent from the same month of 2023.
The country exported ready-made clothing worth $19 billion in the last 12 months (from February 2023 through February 2024).
