BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Turkish exports of furniture, paper, and forestry products to Georgia decreased by 1.7 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $49.5 million, the data of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and forest products worth $18.4 million to Georgia in March 2024, which is 17.5 percent less than the same period last year," the statement of the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of furniture, paper, and forest products to world markets from January through March 2024 fell 1.2 percent to $1.9 billion compared to the same month in 2023.
However, Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and forest products worth $678.7 million in March this year, which was 10.5 percent less than in March last year.
To note, Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and forest products worth $8 billion in the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
