BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Türkiye's exports of textiles and textile raw materials to Russia decreased by 19.8 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $86.2 million, the data of Türkiye's Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $26 million worth of textiles and raw materials for textiles to Russia in March 2024, which is 34.2 percent less than the same period last year," the statement from the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of textiles and raw materials for textiles decreased by 0.6 percent year-on-year to $2.4 billion from January through March 2024.
Additionally, Türkiye exported textiles and raw materials worth $818 million in March this year, which was 9.1 percent less than in March last year.
To note, in the past 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024), Türkiye exported textiles and raw materials for textiles worth $10.7 billion.
