BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Cement exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan fell by 8.4 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period last year, totaling $12 million, Trend reports via Türkiye's Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported $3.4 million worth of cement goods to Azerbaijan in March this year, 7.8 percent less than in March the previous year," the ministry said in a statement.
From January through March 2024, Turkish cement product exports to global markets decreased by 7.4 percent compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $1.1 billion.
Türkiye exported $390 million worth of cement goods in March this year, down 11.1 percent year-on-year.
In the last 12 months (March 2023-March 2024), Türkiye exported cement products worth $4.5 billion.
