BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. Turkish exports of ready-made garments to Uzbekistan increased 1.2 times from January through March 2024, compared to the same period last year, and amounted to $24.7 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
"In March this year, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $13.1 million to Uzbekistan, which is 2.5 times more than in March last year," the ministry said.
From January through March 2024, Turkish exports of ready-made clothes decreased by 12.5 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $4.5 billion.
In March this year, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $1.6 million, down 18.7 percent year-on-year.
Türkiye exported finished garments worth $18.6 billion in the last 12 months (March 2023–March 2024).
