The number of coronavirus-related deaths in the United States exceeded one million, the US-based Johns Hopkins University said, citing its own calculations based on information obtained from international organizations, as well as federal and local authorities, Trend reports citing TASS.
According to the US think tank, the number of COVID-19 deaths in the country stood at 1,000,004.
However, US President Joe Biden said the threshold was crossed last week.
