The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has signed a contract with Azerbaijani IT-company Sinam on the expansion of an e-statistics and analytical reporting system (ESAHS), the company told Trend on Feb.20.

It is planned to introduce the hard and software complex Appliers on business intelligence of the Oracle - Oracle Exalytics company into the CBA, according to the contract.

The new version of Oracle Exalytics allows the acceleration of the performance for analytical reporting in real time mode.

The Oracle Exalytics complex is based on hardware systems corresponding to industry standards of software products for business analysis and databases running in RAM. It is an optimised hard and software complex, pre-configured to reduce costs and simplify IT-infrastructure enterprises resulting in simultaneous dramatic improvements of performance and overall efficiency.

CBA launched ESAHS in the middle of last year. This system allows for the collection of all statistical data into a single database and automatically processes and promptly disseminates relevant information.

The system has a wide range of analytical and mathematical and statistical processing capabilities. Introduction of the system has allowed the automation of processing reports and data entered into the CBA from banks and other sources. Furthermore, the system has greatly simplified the job of exchange of data with other governmental agencies.
