Another family spoke out against a program broadcast by the Imedi television channel March 13, saying the mock political show resulted in the death of their loved-one.
Family members of 75-year-old refugee from Abkhazia Vano Nasaridze said he fell ill after the program and suffered a stroke the next day. He spent several days in the hospital and died.
The family reported that they are going to sue Imedi. They believe the man's death was caused by the station simulating a new war in Georgia.
After the program, NGOs and the National Communications Commission appealed to viewers who consider themselves victims of the incident to sue the television station.
