Electors certificates which were supposed to be used on the voting day on 6 November parliamentary elections became void, the Central Election Committee (CEC) of Azerbaijan told Trend.
After the latest decree by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev of 25 October CEC took a decision not to consider the electors certificates as a necessary document on the elections day. The citizens were to take obligatorily along with the identity cards also the electorвЂ™s certificate. However, due to some problems emerged this defect has been eliminated by President Ilham Aliyev. Taking into account that they had been distributed not among all citizens, as well as falsifications in this issue CEC found these certificates as void.
CEC also took this decision aimed at not overloading of electors with innumerous documents and etc.
