The Azerbaijani Greek-Roman wrestling team won one gold medal, two silver and four bronze awards at the international junior tournament which ended in Tbilisi on Wednesday, Trend reports.
Elmetdin Abdullayev (76kg) successfully fought in the final round and gained the gold. Khurshud Babashov (42kg) and Azad Aliyev (50kg), who were in loss in the final round, took the silver awards. Hassan Aliyev (46kg), Tural Tahmazov (56kg), Gunduz Aliyev (58kg) and Alim Rahimov (76kg) brought bronze medals for the team. The successes enabled the Azerbaijani wrestlers to occupy the second place in the team score, following only Georgia.
