Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) intends to open new regular flights to the Russian cities of Perm, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod and the Belarusian capital of Minsk, during the spring-summer season, according to the head of AZAL press service, Maharram Safarli.

Safarli told Trend on April 4 that it is also planned to resume the seasonal flights to Rostov, Russia.

"The new flights will be opened gradually, and this process will begin in May," he added.

Currently AZAL fleet consists of modern planes that meet all safety requirements.

In particular, the airline's fleet consists of Embraer-170, Embraer-190, Boeing-757, Boeing-767, Airbus A-319, Airbus A-320 and Airbus A-340 planes.
