The implementation of the project on aid to development between the Azerbaijani government and the World Bank (WB) is over. 220 micro projects in repair and construction sphere were implemented from 2001, the date of signing the project, the Fund for Social Security of Internally Displaced People told Trend. The projects amounted at $7m.
The projects covered 175,000 people. 92% of them are IDPs. Social infrastructure in 28 cities and 4 towns were improved as a result of the implementation of the projects.
It should be mentioned that the WB allocated $10m to Azerbaijan within the project.
