Azerbaijan is interested in placing securities of Kyrgyz emitters, 24.kg reported on Tuesday. This fact was announced at the 14th meeting of CIS Council for Control over Securities Market and in 17th meeting of the EurAsEC Council for Securities Market Control.
This event was attended by Kyrgyz chairman of the State Service for Financial Market Control, Yuruslan Toichubekov.
As noted, during the meeting with heads of financial regulators Yuruslan Toichubekov raised an issue how to place securities of Kyrgyz emitters in stock exchanges of Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan showed readiness to place Kyrgyz securities at $40 millions in its stock exchanges.
According to the State Service for Financial Market Control, Yuruslan Toichubekov was elected as a chairman of CIS and EurAsEC Council for Securities Market Control at the meeting in Minsk.
Next meeting of the Council is scheduled for September-October 2012 in Kyrgyzstan.
